He started his career in building control in 1988, specialised in fire safety engineering in 2001 and started Harris Technical and Professional Services (Harris TPS) in 2016. Paul Harris has been working with many of his clients for between 10 and 20 years, providing expertise in fire safety and fire safety engineering. These long relationships are largely attributed to understanding the client’s requirements and making an effort to understand the project and the related constraints, which ultimately define a successful solution.</image:caption>

Paul advised on the fire safety strategy for this project ensuring the safety of the occupants, whilst maximising flexibility of use and reducing the need to compromise this impressive design. The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) named Cambridge Mosque Trust as the winner of the RIBA East Award 2021, RIBA East Project Architect of the Year 2021 (sponsored by Taylor Maxwell), RIBA East Client of the Year 2021, RIBA East Building of the Year 2021 and RIBA Client of the Year 2021.
